Eligibility Criteria:
Promotion: Deputy Director with five years regular service in the organization.
Deputation/Short-term-Contract: Officers under the Central/ State/UT Govt. or Universities; preferably from research organizations:
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department;
or
(ii) With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay level -11 (Rs. 67700-208700) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department and possessing the qualifications mentioned below:
1. Ph.D. in any Social Science.
2. Five years of teaching or guiding research and/or five years' experience of research administration in a reputed organization.
Desirable PhD or equivalent research in Economics/ Rural Development/ Research Methodology/ Decolonization
