The ICSSR, as part of the celebration of the 75th Year of Indian Independence, is initiating a series of lectures to review the achievement of Independent India and the prospects for the future in various fields of social, economic, scientific and technological endeavour to be delivered by leaders in their respective fields. The ICSSR is going to conduct the Lecture series under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava (AKAM).
The first lecture of this series was delivered by Prof. K. VijayRaghavan, Former Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India on "Seventy-five Years of Science in India and the Prospects for the next Decade" on 4th July 2022 at India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi. The event was attended by eminent scholars, Senior Diplomats from Embassies in India, policy makers and other senior office bearers of academic and research organizations of similar nature. The Lecture was very well received by the researchers, academicians & policy makers. The lecture is going to be published as a Monograph.
