Announcement of the Award of ICSSR Yuva Shodh Pratibha Scheme

Dear Applicants,

Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) is pleased to announce the list of applicants whose proposals have been provisionally recommended by the Expert Committees of ICSSR under the scheme of the Yuva Shodh Pratibha Scheme: Youth and Decolonisation (Empowering the students of Four-Year Undergraduate Programme under NEP 2020).

Please note that this project is provisionally approved by the ICSSR and upon fulfilment of eligibility criteria and other conditions, the Award Letter and Sanction Order will be issued after receipt of following original documents:

a. Duly notarized undertaking on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- from the Lead Researcher.

b. Duly notarized declaration on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- from the Lead Researcher including the names of Researcher-1 and Researcher-2 (mention the APAAR ID, Enrollment Number and Academic session.)

c. Acceptance of the awarded project with the date of commencement.

d. Original forwarding letter duly signed/ stamped by statutory authority.

e. Grant-in-aid bill (Pre-receipt) duly filled in for the first instalment.

f. Letter/ certificate regarding 12B/2F status of the affiliating Institute and a proof of Institution’s eligibility to receive public grant.

g. Mark sheet of the previous semester (5th or 6th) of the Lead Researcher.

h. Duly filled PFMS form of the institution.

You are requested to upload all the above-mentioned documents on ICSSR’s Scheme Monitoring Portal (https://ismp.icssr.org/#/) on or before 29th September 2026 to enable us to issue the formal Award Letter and Sanction Order.

The terms, conditions, and monitoring of the ICSSR Research Project Grant will be governed by the guidelines and communications issued by ICSSR.

Upon receipt, verification, and acceptance of the required documents, ICSSR will issue a formal Award Letter and Sanction Order for the research project grant. The project grant will then be transferred through PFMS to the respective affiliating institution.
