It has come to the notice of ICSSR that an individual identifying himself as Ravi, who claims to be a PhD scholar at the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), is sending fraudulent emails from ravi[dot]statistical[dot]services[at]gmail.com to Project Directors of ICSSR-funded research projects, offering data analysis, final report writing, and other academic services while claiming familiarity with ICSSR schemes and requirements.
Engaging with such unauthorised individuals or services and sharing confidential ICSSR research data is highly unethical, compromises research integrity, and constitutes a serious violation of ICSSR guidelines.
All ICSSR awardees and Project Directors are advised to remain vigilant and refrain from sharing research data, confidential project documents, or personal information with unauthorised individuals or agencies. For project, fellowship, or other ICSSR-related matters, awardees should rely only on communications from ICSSR’s official email domain (@icssr[dot]org) and verify any suspicious communication through official channels. Such emails may be reported to ICSSR to help prevent potential fraud and data theft.
