Driver (heavy commercial vehicle)

Education Qualification

(i) 8th pass or higher
(ii) Possessing a valid driving licence for commercial Vehicles (Preferably for the purpose of bus)
(iii) Minimum 5 years’ experience of driving heavy Motor Vehicles.
(iv) Knowledge of motor mechanism ( the candidate should be able to remove minor defects of the vehicle)

This is purely temporary appointment.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the trade test.
If any information provided by the candidate at the time of trade test or thereafter is found to be incorrect, the candidature is liable to be cancelled at any stage.
Age relaxation shall be applicable as per Government of India norms.
Candidates appearing for the walk-in-trade test are required to register from 9:30 AM- to 10:00 AM on 05.06.2026 at Indian Council of Social Science Research, Ministry of Education, JNU Institutional Area, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi 110067.

Interested candidates should come for the trade test with:

Original documents and one set of self-attested copies of the documents.
One recent passport-size photograph.
Duly filled Application Form (available for download on the ICSSR website: www.icssr.org). Candidates without the application form shall not be considered for the trade test.
