The Council brings out the ICSSR Annual Report. The Report is the annual review of the multifarious activities of the Council during the year. This review gives information about the organisation, research promotional activities, documentation, publications, international collaboration, ICSSR Regional Centres, other programmes, and the detailed activities of the research institutes financially supported by the Council, along with the appendixes and the audited statements of accounts.

From the year 2000-2001, the format of the Annual Report has been changed to give it a new look to be more presentable in Parliament.
