INVITATION FOR
RESEARCH PROPOSALS
UNDER RESEARCH PROJECTS PROGDRAMME
ICSSR invites
research proposals from the scholars ( including North Eastern Region) to
conduct research in different areas of
social sciences. The proposal may belong to
any one of the social science disciplines or may be interdisciplinary in
nature. Social scientists with a record
of publications and known for their academic
interests may submit their research proposals on any theme
of their choice, with a significant social science content, in the prescribed format alongwith the requisite documents to Director( Research Projects Division) ICSSR, Aruna Asaf Ali
Marg, JNU Institutional Area, New Delhi-110067
The scholars from certain social groups,
such as scheduled caste/scheduled tribes, are required to indicate their
category clearly in the bio data and
specifically mention on the top of the
research proposal: Research Proposal Under SC or ST category, accompanied
with an attested copy of the SC/ST certificate in support of their claim.
The scholars will get their research projects affiliated to reputed institution/university/college of his/her choice for disbursement of funds. Retired / unemployed scholars may submit their proposals directly, but subsequently, they would be required to affiliate themselves with reputed institutions.

eligibility criteria, terms and conditions,
prescribed format,etc. and other
details relating to the Scheme.
The Last Date
for submission of the research proposals is 30th June,
2011.
