Application for opening bank branch within the premises of ICSSR.


      Applications are invited from the interested Public Sector Banks for opening of a bank branch at the main campus of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), JNU Institutional Area, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi 110067. 


      Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) is an Autonomous Body of Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, New Delhi, established in 1969 as society registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860. The objective of the Council is to promote research in social science by way of sponsoring research programmes and administering grants to institutions and individuals. The Council receives grants for this purpose from Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India to the tune of Rs. 200 crore (Approx.).

      The role of bank within the premises of ICSSR would be to facilitate the administration of the grants received from Govt. of India. The interested banks may also indicate the facilities/ benefits to be offered to ICSSR and its employees, alongwith other terms & conditions. 


      Completed applications should reach the Member Secretary, Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), JNU Institutional Area, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi - 110067, not later than 30 day from the date of publication on the website of the Council - www.icssr.org.
